New released pattern.-


Bell shaped cape that can be made to be waist length (capelet) or just below the hip (long cape).
The back is made in one piece, the front has a buttonhole and button closure, and it has a wide oversized collar that closes with one button, which can also be worn as a "chimney" collar. The long cape has slits at the sides for the arms. The pattern has been hand drafted and is an exact copy of the original, includes three alternating sizes (check the measurements table), which makes it extremely easy to enlarge, reduce or obtain intermediate sizes. Does not include instructions for cutting and sewing. The difficulty level to sew this model is minimal, and it does not present any execution difficulties. The pattern is ready to be placed over the fabric and cut; includes 1.5 cm (58") seam allowances, and 5cm (2") for the hems. It also includes the pattern for the lining.

Size Small.- Bust 84/90 cm. (33/35 inch.)
Size Medium.- Bust 92/96 cm. (36/37 inch.)
Size Large.- Bust 100/106 cm. (38/40 inch.)

Recommended fabrics: silk dupioni, velvet, shantung, brocade, mikado, etc. for the capelet, which will combine perfectly with any evening dress, prom dress, bridesmaids dress, etc.
Tweed, Bouclé, Gabardine and all sorts of wools of a medium weight, for the long version, more
sporty.

These patterns were drafted using traditional Haute Couture methods: Model sketch, first pattern, muslin test garment, fitting on a dressform, fitting on a living model, final adjustments and final test garment made from fashion fabric. The pattern is hand-copied from the original, and by sewing this garment you are guaranteed to obtain a handcrafted exclusive model.

This pattern is for the exclusive use of private customers. Any copyng of this design for resale of the garment in any form, vith o without the name of the designer is strictly forbidden.

NOTES: You receive a product that has been hand made from beginning to end. The pattern has been hand traced over the original using high quality paper (*), similar to the one used by architects and other professionals for the execution of their work. Each pattern comes with a woven label from the designer which certifies that you have in your hands an exclusive and original model. Each pattern piece has been traced complete, without need for overlapping, assembly, folds, etc, which makes for easy understanding of the model. The pattern comes ready to be cut out and placed on the fabric to cut it, which saves you both money and time, since there is no need to use more paper to make copies, unless of course you wish to keep the original pattern intact.

(*) Paper characteristics: Natural paper composed exclusively of pure cellulose, whose manufacture excludes any chemical additive. It has a fungistatic treatment that inhibits the growth of fungi and yeasts. It's resistant to water, oil and fats. It's recyclable, resistant to high temperatures and apt for all methods of printing.
